The National Poetry Foundation began publishing Sagetrieb: A Journal Devoted to Poets in the Imagist/Objectivist Tradition in 1982. In 2002, Sagetrieb changed its subtitle to Poetry and Poetics After Modernism. Special issues of Sagetrieb have focused on such poets as Robin Blaser, Robert Creeley, George Oppen, Robert Duncan, William Bronk, Marianne Moore, Kenneth Rexroth, H.D., and Edward Dorn.
